Terms of Service

Built Different is operated by Kula Worldwide LLC. When these terms say "we" or "us" they mean Kula Worldwide LLC. "Built Different" is the name of the product and the name that appears on your card statement.

Kula Sports Performance is the coaching brand behind the programming. The party to this agreement, and the party that charges your card, is Kula Worldwide LLC.

You must be 18 or older to create an account and to pay for it. There is one kind of account and one login.

If you are buying for a younger athlete, the account is yours — you are the account holder, you are the person we bill, and you decide who you share the login with. You are responsible for anyone you give it to.

One account is for one athlete's training. Please don't circulate the login beyond that.

Built Different gives you written training programming to read. You open your program, watch the movement videos, and train. That is the whole product. It is read-only — you don't log sets, submit results, or send us anything about your training.

We are not coaching you. Nobody reviews your training, watches your technique, corrects your form, adjusts your program for you, or assesses you. There is no coach-athlete relationship between us. The programming is the same written material given to everyone on the same block; it is not built around your body, your injuries, your history or your sport.

It is not in-person training and it is not supervision. Nobody is watching you train.

It is not medical, physical-therapy, rehabilitation or nutritional advice, and nothing in it is a diagnosis or a treatment plan. It does not replace anything your doctor, physical therapist or athletic trainer tells you. If they disagree with something in your programming, follow them, not us.

Strength, speed and movement training involves a real risk of injury. That includes muscle strains, joint injuries, falls, dropped or mishandled equipment, aggravation of an existing injury, and, rarely, serious injury or death. That is true of any physical training and it is true here.

You decide whether to train, and everything about how. Which movements you attempt, how much weight you use, where you train, what equipment you use, whether anyone qualified is present, and whether to stop — all of that is yours. We are not there, we cannot see you, and we are not in a position to tell you whether any of it is safe for you on a given day.

Before starting, get cleared for physical activity by a qualified medical professional. If you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or anything else that isn't normal effort, stop and get medical help.

If you are the account holder and someone else is using your login to train, everything in this section applies to them as well, and you are responsible for making sure they understand it.

By using Built Different you accept these risks, voluntarily and knowingly, and you agree that the decision to train and how to train is yours and not ours.

Built Different is a subscription. You are charged $41.50 every month, automatically, until you cancel. The exact amount and frequency are shown next to the consent checkbox before you pay, and that is the wording your agreement is recorded against.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over a short window. During those retries you keep the access you have already paid for. If the retries end without a successful payment, the subscription is cancelled and access ends.

If the price ever changes, existing subscribers are told before the change takes effect and it applies to future billing periods, not to a period already paid for.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked inside the app. Cancelling stops future charges. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and the amount already paid for that period is not refunded.

If you have trouble reaching the billing portal, email builtdifferent@kulasp.com and we will handle it for you. Cancelling should never be harder than signing up was.

Programming unlocks as your payments land. While your subscription is active you can read the programming that has been released to you.

The programming, videos and written material belong to Kula Worldwide LLC. Your subscription is a personal licence to read and use them for your own training. Please don't copy, republish, resell or share them, or use them to coach other people commercially.

Your training history stays in your account if you cancel and come back.

We can suspend or close an account that is sharing credentials, redistributing the programming, abusing the service, or being used fraudulently. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first.

You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing builtdifferent@kulasp.com.

Built Different is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular athletic result will follow from using it.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page always tells you which version you are reading.
